The growing popularity of Hon. Ibrahim Wali of the New Nigeria Peoples Party ( NNPP) has been described as a threat to the political ambitions of Niger State Governor, ABUBAKAR SANI BELLO who is the flagbearer of the the All Progressives Congress for the Niger North Senatorial District (Zone C) in the forthcoming general election.

A political analyst, Shuaibu Ibrahim who disclosed this during a chat with journalists recently in Minna, described Hon. Ibrahim Wali, a candidate of NNPP for the Niger North Senatorial District, as a grassroots politician who is Loved by electorates in the Senatorial District.
Having sponsored alot of empowerment programmes to support the less-priviledge as well as Scholarships to alot of Students from the less privileged Homes in the Zone, the people of the Niger North Senatorial District believe that Hon. Ibrahim Wali will do better in terms of facilitating the neccessary Infrastructural and Human resources Development if elected to represent them in the forthcoming general election.
It would be recalled that Niger North Senatorial District which is divided along Kotangora and Borgu Emirates has as a result of continuous banditry activities, suffered alot of destruction of Infrastructural facilities and loss of Lives hence the need to elect a Senator that would facilitate the speedy development of the Senatorial District.
Although, the incumbent Senator representing the Niger North Senatorial District, ALIYU SHABI is from Borgu Local Government area in Borgu Emirate, it is however obvious that the Senatorial ticket of the District which has been Zoned to Kotangora Emirate ( Kotangora, Mariga, Mashegu, Wushishi) in the forthcoming election will be kneely contested.
Therefore, as the 2023 general election gets closer, who wins the Niger North Senatorial seat between the Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ibrahim Wali of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Dr AS…………………………. of the People Democratic Party (PDP), a matter of time
The political analyst believes that though Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of the APC has a better political structure across the Senatorial District but the massive acceptance of NNPP Senatorial candidate, Hon. Ibrahim Wali, across the senatorial district has better positioned him ahead of other contestants to win the forthcoming general election.
According to him the electorates in the Niger North Senatorial District believe that, it is time for Hon. Ibrahim Wali who has been passionate about the development of the Senatorial District to be elected as a Senator representing the zone in the forthcoming general election.
” There is no doubt about it, the massive acceptance of Hon. Ibrahim Wali’s candidature across the Senatorial District has further constitute a threat to the political ambitions of the co – contestant in the forthcoming general election
Therefore, can Hon. Ibrahim Wali hurricane put an end to the reign of APC which has the likes of Rep. Shehu Saleh (Slow) ,Rep Abubakar Idris Garba(AIG) popularly known as Mai Solar and host of others? Time will tell.
