Five Members of the Benue State House of Assembly have escaped attack from the suspected armed Bandits who had laid siege on them.
According to PUNCH, the incident happened on Thursday night at about 10pm at Tyomu in Gwer Local Government Area of the State.
The Gunmen who allegedly took over Gboko/ Makurdi highway with shot indiscriminately at Motorist who piled the road at that particular hour.
Though, the lawmakers were said to be returning from an oversight function in Kastina- Aka LGA before they were attacked.
The members affected by the attack include the Benue State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Saater Tisser, Chief Whip, Ipusu Bemdoo, Samuel Jiji of Logos state Constituency, Simon Gabo of Mata State Constituency, Cephas Dyaku.
The House however called on Security agents to immediately arrest the attackers and bring them to Justice..
