Chairman, Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State, HON. ABBAS ADAMU KASUWAN GARBA has applauded Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s approval of N80,000 as the new Minimum wage for Civil Servant in the State.

Hon. Abbas disclosed this during a chat with Journalists recently in Minna.

He said that the move by Governor Bago to pay State and Local Government workers  Minimum wage package of N80,000  was in accordance with the New Niger Agenda of his administration.

According to him, with N80,000 as new Minimum wage for the Civil Servants, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago has proven once again that Niger State under his leadership will not be left behind amongst the comity of State in Nigeria.

He further added that “on behalf of the entire Civil Servants in the State, I hereby thank our dear Farmer Governor for choosing N80,000 as Minimum wage far above N70,000 which is being approved by Federal Government.
