The bold steps taken by the Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago towards the implementation of his New Niger Agenda is gradually repositioning the State for greatness.
The Executive Chairman of Mariga Local Government Area, Hon. Abbas Adamu Kasuwan Garba made the assertion during a chat with Journalist recently in Minna.
Hon. Abbas Adamu observed that Niger State was blessed with abundant Human and Natural Resources but the inability to harness the potentials through quality Leadership has constituted a bane towards the development of the State, pointing out that the present administration of Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago is gradually changing the narration in Niger State.
According to Mariga Local Government Chairman, development and transformation is a gradual process, nevertheless Bago administration has achieved alot in the area of Health care and Educational development, Agriculture, Infrastructural development, Social Economic activities and adequate Security of Life and Properties just within short time on assumption of office.
Speaking further, he said it is no longer news that the administration of Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago has been embarking on Massive Infrastructural development that will attract Investors to the State.
” As you can see, Minna township roads is experiencing Massive reconstruction, adding that the reconstruction of Tegina to Minna road is almost completed while the contract for construction of Bida ring roads has been awarded.” he said
.The Local Government Chairman also talked about the conversation of the Moribound Sh犀利士
iroro Hotel to Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida University( IBBU) Teaching Hospital in order to meet the manpower required for Healthcare Sector.
Hon. Abbas said investment in Health sector will enhance efficiency, effectiveness, accessible and affordable healthcare delivery to the people of Niger State.
The Chairman therefore applauded the Niger State Government under the Leadership of Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago for taking a step towards acquiring #500 Billion worth of Agricultural Equipment and Implements to create over One million Jobs.
He described Niger State as an agarian territory sitting on 76,363km2 of land and Large water bodies that would enhance irrigation system.
“Harnessing the potentials in the Agricultural Sector, is the key towards the development of Niger State economy which is solely a civil servants state.” the chairman declared.
Hon Abbas further stated that although Niger State has been battling with the challenges of Insecurity in the last 7 years, Bago administration has been doing his best in collaboration with the Federal Government to change the story.
In this regard, Hon. Abbas said the people of Mariga Local Government Area especially communities around Gublin – Boka who were seriously under attack by bandits in the past can now sleep with their eyes closed.
He then urged the people of Niger State to support and corporate with Bago Administration.
