The member representing Wushishi Local Government Area in the Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Aliyu Sheshi has been applauded for taking an unprecedented step towards re-defining Leadership by representation in the Local Government.
The former Chairman, Niger State Pilgrims Board, Alhaji Idris Chabi Wushishi, disclosed this during a chat with Journalist recently in Minna.
He described Hon. Sheshi’s bold initiative in the provision of Cash grants, Scholarship, Portable water supply, as well as Free medical outreach for 5000 Vulnerables, as giant stride in the right direction.
According to him, Hon. Aliyu Sheshi’s cash grants to 500 Women in Wushishi Local Government Area, is a stimulus package that will boost the economic activities of the locals which hetherto suffer setbacks as a result of economic downturn.
Determined to further the development of his constituency, Hon. Sheshi also embarked on uncommon educational Intervention programme with the awarded of scholarship to 300 students from Wushishi Local Government Area to study various fields of endeavours in higher Institutions across Niger State.
The Wushishi stakeholders believe that this will go a long way to rejig darth of professions prevailing amongs us today.
Nevertheless, the distinguished Lawmaker has also sponsored Free Medical Outreach for 5000 Vulnerables in Wushishi Local Government.
Hon. Sheshi during flag off of the free Medical Outreach said the less privilege pay little or no attention to their Health Challenges due to their lean purses and the economic situation in the Country.
Speaking further HON sheshi believes that the free Medical Outreach will address the Health challenges of the Masses especially the people at the grassroots
In a similar effort,. HON. Sheshi went out of his way to sink motorized boreholes while repairing many with the view to supplying portable water for the people
The former Chairman of Niger State Pilgrims Board remarked that people of Wushishi Local Government Area have never had it so good like this since the inception of Democratic rule in the state.
