The Agriculture Graduates Association of Nigeria (AGAN) Niger State chapter are to partner with Minna Emirates Youths Association in establishing a sustainable structure for agricultural Development in the area.
The agreement was reached during the courtesy visit of Minna Emirates Youths Association to AGAN office, opposite Muritala Park along Bosso Road Minna, Niger State.
The Niger State Coordinator of AGAN, Alhaji Iliyasu Hussain who received the youths along with his colleagues spoke extensively on how there Association have been transforming the social economic status of people in Nigeria and Niger State through Agricultural Services.

He pointed out that the aims and objective of AGAN as a Professional Body was to provide a structural policies that would fast track the growth of investments in the Agricultural Sector adding that this will draw the attention of people towards investing in the sector.

Speaking further, he said that AGAN has been rendering alots of services for decades which includes partnership with different National and Multi- national Companies like CHEVERON, GIZ ,HARVEST PLUS in the area of providing biofortified crops, creating Community Base SMEs that supports about 1000 rice farmers as well as Entrepreneurship training for Youths and Women.

Having  identified KIN NUPE BUSINESS INITIATIVES from the Niger South Senatorial District in our new capacity programme, the Niger State coordinator of AGAN said they are ready to work with Minna Emirates Youths and Suleja Emirates youths in developing the agricultural potentials in the senatorial Zone.

However, there were a lot of success stories from members of AGAN  as well as beneficiary of their serves in order to encourage the visiting Youths.

Responding, the president of Minna Emirates Youths Association (M.E.Y.A), BASHIR ABUBAKAR said the association concretize there partnership with AGAN in order to grow their investment in the Agricultural sector .
The President of MEYA however request for a support towards developing their  Land for Agricultural purpose.
Meanwhile, MEYA has been advised to reduce the matter into writing to make official records for the secretariat.
