The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Limited (TSSL), Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo has reiterated his commitment to end the criminal theft of the Nigeria’s Crude oil in the Niger Delta.
Tompolo stated this while receiving the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) International Security Meritorious Award.
The National President of NUJ, Chris Isiguzo said the award was in recognition of the sterling contribution of Tompolo and his firm against Crude oil theft in the country.
The awards was today confer on Tompolo in Oporoza Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State by the NUJ leadership under the administration of Chris Isiguzo.
Speaking further, the NUJ said the country would have been in some trouble without the patriotic efforts of Tompolo.
Pointing out that this was the first time NUJ in its history would be confering the Internal Security Meritorious Award Award of the Union on anybody.
The National President of NUJ further explained that the award was the only one approved during its National Security Conference in Abuja and it’s was given to Tompolo.
According to him” somebody has risen to the occasion and gather an array of young men who have taken it upon themselves to help Nigeria to continue to survive as a peaceful nation, United and feed for its people.
” And that is the best man who has, to a very large extent, substantially, helped us address the issue of crude oil theft.
“This is one thing that has occupied our national life overtime. By his Commitment, dedication and deligence, Nigeria as a country has to a large extent, reduced activities of men of the underworld consistently engaged in taking our common patrimony for their self gains.
Having assessed the activities of TSSNL, the NUJ decided that we must accord the necessary recognition to the Man who carry the flag, birthed this Security outfit which has exceptionally distinguished himself” NUJ declared.
