The Honourable Commissioner, Niger State Ministry of Information and Strategy, Hon. Binta Mamman has applauded the bold steps taken by the Wife of the Niger State Governor, Hajiya Fatima Mohammed Umar Bago in ensuring that every pregnant woman who gives birth at both Primary and Secondary Health care facilities across the State had access to Free delivery kits.
The Honourable Commissioner, stated this during a chat with Achievers Magazine recently in Minna.
Hon. Binta said the delivery kits will go along way to assist the less privileged Pregnant women in the Society during the child bearing
Pointing out that the aims and objectives of Bago administration was to provide succur for the less privileged in the society.

It will be recalled that during the official flag-off of National Immunization plus day, the wife of the Niger State Governor, Hajiya Fatima Mohammed Umar Bago promised delivery kits to every pregnant woman that gives birth at Government Healthcare facilities across the State.
Speaking further, she said that the MaMa kits was a personal Initiative from her office to support the pregnant women across the State during child birth.
However the Information Commissioner believes that the gesture will reduce maternal Mortality and Promoting Safe motherhood across Niger State.
