The Agro Ranger squad of the Niger State Command of Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) will partner with Governor Umar Mohammed Bago Agro Allied investment in the state , the state commandant of the NSCDC Mr. Joachin Okafor has assured.
Okafor gave the assurance in a press statement issued by Mr Abubakar Mohammed Muti, the spokesman of NSCDC, Niger State Command.
He explained that the Agro Ranger squad of the NSCDC was established in 2016 through the initiative of Federal Ministry Agricultures and that of Federal Ministry of Interior to ensure the security and Protection of Agro Allied investments, in the country.
According to the press statement, the Niger State command of the Agro rangers squad will leave no stone unturned in the Protection of Agro allied investments in the state.
Commandant Joachim Okafor maintained that officers and men of the Agro rangers squad of the command have been fully trained to perform effectively in the protection of the Agro allied processing project sited in Niger State assuring that the state command of the NSCDC will partner with the state government in safeguarding the project in the state.
While assuring the government and people of Niger State of the Command prepadnes to protect and safeguard the critical National assets and infrastructures in Niger State , commandant Okafor warned vandals and other criminally minded elements in the state to relocate from Niger State ” or the full wrath of the law.
He implored law abiding individuals in the state to go about their legitimate business with the assurance of their safety at all times and called on traditional rulers and Community leaders in the state to always monitor the movement of strange faces in their Community for prompt action.
Meanwhile, a total of one thousand officers and men of the NSCDC will be deployed to the Minna Ago Allied Processing Investment zone ahead of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu official commissioning of the project today.
Commandant Joachim Okafor who disclosed this explained that among them include plain clothes Operatives and some undercover Operatives will be place in strategic location to ensure hitch free commissioning of the project.
