TINUBU TO ATTEND SENEGAL PRESIDENT- ELECT INAGURATION

The President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 departed for Dakar, Senegal, to attend the inauguration of Bassirou Faye, Senegal President- elect.

This was disclosed in a statement titled ” President TINUBU to attend Inaguration of Bassirou Faye, Senegal President-elect” by Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

It will be recalled that the Nigeria President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is the Chairman of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, will be visiting the country ( SENEGAL) for the first time since assumption of office, at the invitation of the Senegal Government.

” He will also join other regional Leaders to witness the Inauguration at Diamniadio Exhibition Centre on Tuesday” said Ngelale.

The President will be accompanied on the trip by Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and other senior Government officials.
He is expected to return to Nigeria at the eve of the Inaguration.

However, Senegal is the fifth African Country President Tinubu will be visiting since assuming office 10 months ago as the President Federal Republic of Nigeria.
