The 7 Division of the Nigeria Military Police K9 Team, on routine search operations at the Borno Express Terminal in Maiduguri has arrested Lance Corporal( Yakubu) for allegedly stealing, hiding Ammunitions in a Bag of Rice.
The Soldier, according to Zagazola Makama, security source, was arrested on May 9, for unlawfully being in possession of 756 quantity of Rnd of 7.62 mm special ammunition and 4*36 Hand Grenades concealed inside a small bag of Rice.
Makama, who shared the information in its official X ( formerly Twitter) with picture of the Soldier with recovered ammunition, said the Corporal is currently in Military Custody for further action.
