A middle aged woman, Omolara Jamiu has allegedly killed her husband, Sediu Jamiu in the University town of Akungba Akiko in Ondo State over alleged Infidelity.
The wife of the deceased was said to have smashed the husband with the head of Pestle in his sleep over allegation of having a secret lover popularly referred to as ” sidechic”
According to an elder from Ibaka community of Akungba and the Seriki Musulumi, some residents of the town raised alarm after seeing the body of Seidu in a pool of his own blood .
Chief Awesu siad that the deceased was rushed to hospital but died on arrival.
While the police in Akungba, Akoko have reportedly arrested the wife, Omolara and the case has been transferred to police headquarters in Akure.
While the newsmen visited the home of the Couple in Akungba, many sympathize were seeing in the area with some of them describing the late Seidu Jamiu as a nice person who took care of the wife to the best of his ability including buying Car and building house for her.
