The #98.5 Billion of Federal Capital Territory supplementary appropriation Bill, 2024 has b壯陽藥
een stepped down by the Nigeria Senate for lacking fiscal clarity.
The development follows a lead debate by Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, leader of the Senate, proposing the approval of the supplementary.
Although, other senators commended the FCT minister for the notable achievements seen within and around Federal Capital Territory urging other sleeping Ministers to take a cue from his set record of achievement.
The lawmakers are however satisfied with the Improvement in the FCT Internal Generated Revenue but they want a further breakdown of the components of the Bill which is a necessary bugetary requirement.
The Senate President , Godswill Akpabio however concurred with the senate that the bill lacked the necessary details for the senate to proceed with. He then put the bill to a Vioce vote and the Majority voted against reading the bill for the second time, and it was Stepdown until a detailed analysis was provided.
