The Unknown Gunmen who attacked Police Division in Ebonyi State met their Waterloo as the policemen on duty stood firm and repealed the attack.
A source told the Journalist that the Gunmen came in a Bus and started shooting sporadically, causing panic in the area.
Though no casualties were recorded but the attackers is said to have disrupted the distribution of PALLATIVES by the Chairman of Ohaukwu LGA, Prince Ikechukwu Odono.
” Everybody including the Council Chairman ran for their lives to avoid injuries from the gunshots” source revealed.
The police spokesperson in the state DSP Joshua Ukandu confirmed the attack on Tuesday evening on Channels Television .
He started that police operatives on ground repealed the attack as Vehicle and Motorcycles in the station were set ablaze by the fleeing gunmen.
However, DSP Joshua Ukandu said that the police are on the trail of the attackers.
