The Leadership of the Organized Labour have promised to resume strike if there demands are not met.

The Labour Chef , Joe Ajaero disclosed this on Tuesday while responding to the issue of new National Minimum wage.

It will be recalled that when Federal Government present #60,000 as the New Minimum wage, the Organized Labour withdraw from the negotiation table and declared an indefinite strike action which lasted for two days

Although, the tripartite Committee assigned with the responsibility of the new Minimum wage has increased it from #60,000 to #62,000 but the Labour Union are still insisting on #250,000.

The resolution of the tripartite Committee which ended last night, would be forwarded to President Tinubu who is expected to study them and send a Bill to the National Assembly for the final consideration of the New Minimum wage act.

Earlier, President Tinubu had instructed the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun to prepared a template for the new Minimum wage which was submitted to him yesterday but yet to be unveiled to Nigerians.
