NEW MINIMUM WAGE, LABOUR REJECTS TINUBU’S CLAIMS ON AGREEMENT

The Organized Labour has rejected President Tinubu’s claim’s that an agreement has been reached on the new National Minimum wages in his Nationwide Broadcast on Democracy day.

According to Organized Labour, as at the time the negotiation ended on Friday, June 7, there was no agreement reached by the Tripartite Committee on the National Minimum wage.

Rather, two figures such as #250,000 from Organized Labour and #62,000 from Government and Organized Private Sector ( OPS) were arrived at and will believe this must have been submitted to the President.

In a Statement by the Acting President of Nigeria Labour Congress ( NLC) Prince Adewale Adeyanju, anything contrary was not only doctored but won’t be accepted by Labour.
