Unknown Gunmen suspected to be Bandits who recently kidnapped a councillorship aspirant identified Japheth Zarma Yakubu from Kachia LGA of Kaduna State are demanding #20 million and two motorcycles as ransom for his release.
The community leader who disclosed this to Daily Trust Reporter on Tuesday, said the bandits’ leader called on Sunday around 11:45am through the victim’s phone and asked the family to raise N20m and two motorcycles for them.
“Just this morning, the relative of the victim came to my place to inform me on how he had been able to talk to the bandits’ leader.” He said
Recall that City & Crime reported that bandits, last Thursday, abducted the victim when he went to inspect his farm.
