The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SGS), Alhaji Abubakar Usman has rejoiced with His Royal Highness, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, CFR, Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers who turns 72 on Thursday, 12th September, 2024.
Alhaji Usman, in a congratulatory message to the Etsu Nupe on behalf of the people and Government of the State, disclosed that his ascension on the throne has brought glamour, candor, respect, and dignity to traditional institutions which are the custodian of traditional norms and values in the State.
The SGS further explained that the commitment of His Royal Highness to peace, love for his subjects, and deliberate efforts to position the Nupe Kingdom socially, economically, and culturally among several others are worthy of emulation.
According to Alhaji Usman, “I join the entire people of Niger State and the Nupe Kingdom to thank God for His enduring Mercies on the Etsu Nupe over the years for giving him the wisdom to excellently discharge his royal duties”.

As the Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers marks this milestone birthday, I wish His Royal Highness sound health and many years of prosperity on the throne of his forebears, the SGS stressed.
