The Victory of Reverend Fr. Hyacinth Alia in the schedule re-run Governorship primary election of the All progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State will Strengthen and broaden the chances of the party to win the forthcoming 2023 general election.
This was the submission of the State Party Chairman, Comr. Austin Agada during a chat with journalists recently in Makurdi.
Comr. Agada described the party Gubernatorial candidate, Reverend Fr. Alia, as a grassroot politician liked by many in Leadership.
Earlier, the emergence of Reverend Fr. Alia send panic to the opposition party until the Court of Appeal verdict on January 23, 2023 that Nullified the Benue State APC Governorship primary election calling for re-run in 11 wards of the state , gave them relieve.
However, after the conduct of schedule re – run Governorship primary election of APC in the 11 wards of Benue State as directed by Court of Appeal Judgment, Fr. Alia Hyacinth emerged as winner with 410,682 while Sam ode is the runners up.
Hence with Fr. Hyacinth Alia as the APC Gubernatorial candidate, can the party win the forthcoming general election in Benue State.
Responding, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Benue State, Comr. Austin agada, described Reverend Father Alia who won the party Governorship ticket as the one choosen by God to Lead the party to victory during the forthcoming general election in Benue state adding that the state will witnessed an unprecedented development under his Leadership.
He therefore appealed to other aspirants who lost out during the primary election to join hand together with Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia for the party’s success during the forthcoming general election
