A non-governmental organisation known as ” Home of Ni’ima” in Niger State has distributed food items to the Internally Displaced Person’s (IDP) camps in Gwada, Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
The Achievers focus corespondent who disclosed this said that the Chairperson of Home of Ni’ma, Hajiya Rahina Muhammad Abubakar while presenting food items to the victims expressed sadness over the Challenging situations at the IDP Camps.
Saying that there is the need for kind hearted Nigerians with the required financial strength to come to the aid of people in the IDP Camps.
It will be recalled that the “Home of Ni’ima” is a non governmental organization who seek for assistance from wealthy people to support the less privileged in the Society.
The Chairperson, Home of Ni’ima however explained that she swung into action to save innocent lives from being starved to death when someone brief her of the situation at the IDP Camps.
“The outreach was aimed at feeding them the way other people feed at home.”
According to Hajiya Rahina, the primary aims of the foundation is to carry out Humanitarian Services wherever there is the need for it.
She commended the camp’s leader for coordinating the people, advising him to ensure that every household in the camp get equal share of the food items, irrespective of there class.
Responding, some of the beneficiaries thanked the donor for its humanitarian gesture and used the opportunity to call on the Governments to enssured that arrangement are made for people to return home after the rainy season.
