A passionate appeal has gone to electorates in Niger State and other part of Nigeria to look beyond religion colouration and support the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu) in the forthcoming general election.
Hon. Haruna Arafat Abubakar Magaji, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Gurara -Suleja – Tafa Federal Constituency seat, made this appeal in a chat with ACHIEVERS MAGAZINE recently in Minna.

He observed that although Nigeria as a Country is a secular State where the interest of all the religion must be accommodated in the spirit of fairness and Justice but there is a need for us to consider the competence of the APC presidential candidate ( Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu) in piloting Nigeria to a promised land without religion interference. Hon. Arafat pleaded with those who are aggrieved about the Muslim- Muslim tickets of the APC and also assured them of the party uttermost respect for religious concerns and ethnic sensitivity of Nigerians.
” It is unfortunate we found ourselves in a situation like this, the decision of APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to pick Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate was not to undermine any religion.
This is because the All Progressives Congress as a party and his presidential candidate has uttermost respect for Christians Faith that is the reason why he has allowed his wife to hold onto her faith for over 30 years of their Marriage without any religion interference.
And if he can assist and support his wife to be a pastor then how would he endanger the Christian faith. Arafat declared.
In a related development, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo , recently urged Nigerians not to place religion ahead of competence in the 2023 general election.

He appealed to Nigerians to considered the performance of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Governor of Lagos State and vote for him in the 2023 general election “. A famous quote; Are you Hindu, Muslim or Christian?
And the young girl replied,” I am hungry! ” As the elites selfishly try to smuggle religion into politics. What ordinary citizens need is just Good governance.
It is therefore on this ground, Hon. Arafat Abubakar Magaji appealed to Nigerians to massively vote for the APC presidential candidate in the 2023 general election.
