The Head of Service, Hajiya Salamatu T. Abubakar mni, has called on the entire Civil Servants at the Local Government Area’s to acquaint themselves with the customized copies of the Operational guidelines for effective service delivery at their respective Council’s.

She stated this at the Flag-Off of the distribution of Customized Operational Guidelines for Local Government staff held at the Safara Hotel, Kontagora.
Hajiya Salamatu stated that there was a need to close the widening gap and update them in line with International best practices especially when the Universe is witnessing technological innovations which is fast competing with the modes of operation of the Civil Service across the globe.
She further stated that the current Administration under the leadership of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello is committed and passionate about transforming the entire Civil Service in the State by providing an enabling environment for effective service delivery through training of its workforce in order to instill professionalism, accountability and transparency.
Hajiya Salamatu reiterated that her Office welcome’s innovations and new ideas from LG Council’s that are capable of promoting effective operations and service delivery at the third tier of government.
She also commended the Chairman and members of the Local Government Service Commission, the Permanent Secretary and his supporting staff for their role geared towards restoring the lost glory of Civil Service at the LG level.
Most importantly, the HOS called on Civil Servants to familiarize themselves with the customized copies of the Operational Guidelines for effective Service delivery at their respective Council’s as the books will assist the entire Civil Servants in the discharge of their responsibilities to the public at the LGAs.
