The Niger State Ministry of Tertiary Education is taking a drastic measures to curb and curtail the spread and illegal activities of Private Schools of Health in the State.
The Hon. Commissioner Niger State Ministry of Tertiary Education, Hon Abdullahi Adamu Mammagi disclosed this during Stakeholders meeting held recently in the Ministry Conference Hall Minna.
The Hon. Commissioner attributed the loopholes in the Health Education Sector to lack of knowledge on the pact of Parents for not chosen appropriate Health Institution for their Children even as he could not exnorate the Ministry from the blame.
He explained that the meeting was a result of parent’s out cry over their Children who had stayed in the School for over 4 years and could not graduate adding that this was connected to the wrong choice of school that lack accreditation.
The Hon. Commissioner however maintained that the Ministry was resolved to sanitize the system by clamping down on unqualified Health Institution that do not have required qualifications for operation.
Stressing that the Ministry would for now reserved the disclosure of the action to be taken.
Hon. Mammagi however availed the Ministry’s contact through which complaint could reach the Ministry on fake institution for immediate action.
