ARAFAT DOOR TO DOOR SUPPORT FARMER MOHAMMED UMAR BAGO’S ADMINISTRATION
The Annual National Conference for National Council of Directors/ Chief Road Traffic Officers of the Federation, is a platform where Motor Vehicle Administrators and key stakeholders meet for the purpose of periodic review of their activities at the end of which implementable Policy, direction in Motor Vehicle Administration are proposed for the consideration of national and sub-nationals policy Makers as well as other institutional Stakeholders.
The Executive Director of Niger State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency, Dr Bako Danladi Mohammed, who is the chairman Organizing committe of the conference disclosed this during the recent Press conference held at the conference Hall of the Agency in Minna the Niger State capital.
Dr Bako said Testing and licensing constitutes today’s motor vehicle administration which he said has witnessed series of changes since it was extracted from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in 1962.
Pointing out that, it has been a residual issue of the States in accordance with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
According to him, he said this year conference will provide insights on Road Transportation sector as well as brainstorm on the way forward on Motor Vehicle Administration in Nigeria among other important matters.
The highlights of the Conference would be the recognition of key personalities in both public and private sector with the highest of it’s honors and awards on Vehicle Inspection Service of the Federation.
The objective of the investiture according to Dr. Bako is to identify and recognise individuals who have contributed immensely on Improving safety of the Transportation Sector and Supported efficient services of the mandates of Vehicular administration
