Paul Scholes, has condemned the decision of Manchester United to appoint Ruben Amorim as replacement for Erik ten Hag who was recently sack by the club side.
Scholes who disclosed this during the Overlap Fan Debate, said Thomas Tuchel was the right one to coach Manchester United but obviously he’s gone now with England.
Stressing that Tuchel has what it takes to manage an elite football club and win big games. He’s been there and done it.”
Speaking further, he said Reuben Amorim is over hype just exactly the same way like Erik ten Hag when he joined Manchester United.
“He is coming from the Portuguese league which is a bit better than the Dutch league but we need someone that can do it better.”
It will be recalled that Reuben Amorim is close to getting the United job after Ten Hag was sacked on Monday.
The Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes is not impressed about the imminent appointment.
According to him, United should have tried to get Thomas Tuchel.
