The Agriculture Graduate Association of Nigeria (AGAN) has been commended for there enormous contribution towards the development of Agriculture in Niger State and Nigeria at large.
The commendation was made by the participants of the 10th edition of Nutritious Foods Fair held recently at Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre Minna, Niger State.
The participants attending the 10th edition of Nutritious Foods Fair at Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre were exclusively mobilised for an AGAN training tagged Extension Entrepreneurship using ICSS, in the same venue.
They (participants) described AGAN as a valuable organisation that is needed for Niger and Nigeria to successfully drive the development of the Agricultural sector.
Earlier, the Organizer of the training, Faruq. A Faruq disclosed that the main objectives of AGAN was to mobilised farmers towards production, Agro business Investment and Preparation of knowledge based Farmers for sustainable agriculture adding that this has been achieved since the creation of AGAN in 2005.
He however encouraged the participants to put the knowledge acquired during the training into practical.
Saying, it is time for us to contribute our quota towards the development of the Agricultural sector.
