The Anambra State Police Command have launched a manhunt for killers of a Catholic priest in Ihiala Local Government Area of the state.
This was disclosed in a statement on Friday by Sp. Tochukwu Ikenga, PPRO of Anambra State Police Command
The Catholic priest, Tobias Okonkwo was killed on Thursday around 7 pm. in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra state.
The PPRO of the Anambra State Police Command, Sp. Ikenga, however disclosed that the State Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Obono, has vowed to “leave no stone unturned” until he tracked down the killers.
The commissioner of Police however urged the residents of Anambra State to support the security agencies with information that can aid investigation the killing.
He assured the residents that such information would be treated with utmost confidentiality.
