The establishment of Mini- Barracks for the Joint Security Task Force in Beji Town in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State will go along way to further shield the town from continuous Bandits attacks.

This assertion was made by the Village Head of Beji, Alhaji Abdullahi Isah, during a chat with Achievers Magazine in his palace, recently.

The Village Head said that although the administration of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello have done it’s best in the area of protection of lives and properties in Beji town, there was a need for the present administration of Gov. Umar Bago to do more.

He said that Bandits now use Beji Town as their route and hideout to places of their operations, adding that this development had further exposed the town to continuous attack as people now live in Fear.

Although, there is a Police Station in Beji Town which is Manned with less than nine officers, Banditry has remained on increase in the area.

Then how do you expect a police station with less than nine officers to provide effective policing that would protect Beji Town from Bandits attacks? This was the response of Sadiq Umar, a polical analyst while talking on Bandits attacks in Beji town, Niger State.

The political analysts believes that Government needs to do more in the area of providing an effective Armed Security Architecture that would protect Beji town and it’s environment from the hands of Bandits.

He described Beji Town as a commercial nerve centre where people across the country patronise on a weekly market day hence the need to establish a well equipped police station manned by adquate experienced officers.

According to the political analysts, the issue of insecurity caused by Banditry must be addressed as quickly as possible before it would completely paralyzes business activities especially Farming which would later result to scarcity of Foods item.

Responding, the Secretary of Bosso Local Government Area, Hon. Danlami Mai Angwan Nangau said the issue of insecurity caused by Banditry in Beji Town and it’s environment will soon be a thing of the past.

Hon. Danlami who said this during a chat with Achievers Magazine in his office recently, narrated the effort of Bosso Local Government administration under the Leadership of Hajiya Ladidi Bawa Bosso in putting an end to the activities of Bandits in Beji town and it’s environment.

According to him, when Hajiya Ladidi Bosso assumed office as the Executive chairperson of Bosso Local Government Area, the Council under her Leadership had an intelligent consultation Meeting with all the security agencies on how best to manage the challenges of insecurity caused by Bandits in Beji Town and it’s environment, adding that the resolution of the meeting were adopted and executed with result envidence as insecurity is gradually disappearing in Beji Town, Bosso Local Government Area.

Hon. Danlami stated further that Bosso Local Government Area has trained slots of Vigilantees who are presently taking the Battle to hideout of the bandits.

He told Achievers Magazine that the security of lives and Properties in Bosso Local Government Area remained the priority of Haj. Ladidi Bawa Bosso administration and she would not rest until she achieves.

In related development, the member elect. for Bosso/ paikoro Federal constituency, Hon. Yusuf Kure Baraje, has described as unfortunate the continuous Bandits attacks in Beji town, Bosso Local Government Area and some villages in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State.

He promised to make the security of lives and properties his priority while representing Bosso/Paikoro Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
