The development of agricultural potentials in Gurara/Suleja/Tafa Federal Constituency will be prioritized by Hon. Haruna Abubakar Arafat Magaji, if elected to represent the constituency during the 2027 general election.
This assurance was given by a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Abdulkadeer Musa Izom during a chat with Journalists in Minna recently.
The APC leader emphasized that Gurara/Suleja/Tafa Federal Constituency was blessed with a fertile land suitable for mass production of Rice, Sorghum and other agricultural produce but there was the need for quality representation to harnessed the potential in the sector for economic development of the zone.
He assured people of the area of Hon. Arafat’s readiness to leverage on legislative instrument for the development of the sector.
He maintained that Gurara/Suleja/Tafa Federal Constituency will be best positioned under Hon. Arafat’s representation to compliment the efforts of Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago’s administration to facilitate agricultural development and rural transformation, crucial for food security and economic growth.
According to Izom, “Hon. Arafat will encourage our farmers to go into mechanized farming and also support them in terms of seedlings and fertilizers.”
He therefore urged the electorates in the area to throw their weight behind the candidature of Hon. Arafat during the 2027 general election.
