The Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Abdulmalik Mohammed Sarkin Daji, has extended warm goodwill messages to civil servants in the state as they celebrate Workers’ Day. Represented by Hon. Arc. Abubakar Suleiman Gomna, Member Representing Bosso Constituency, the Speaker reaffirmed the Assembly’s unwavering support for civil servants, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the state’s development and progress.

The Speaker commended the Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago for the recent recruitment of youths into the Niger State Civil Service, describing it as a significant step towards enhancing the state’s human capital and promoting youth empowerment. This gesture demonstrates the government’s commitment to creating opportunities for young people and strengthening the civil service.

The Workers’ Day celebration featured a vibrant parade by unions under the Organised Labour and the presentation of the Hero Award. These activities highlighted the significant contributions of workers to the state’s growth and development, showcasing their dedication and hard work.
