APC CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE, LAVUN LG.
The Chairmanship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress( APC) in Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State in the forthcoming council election, Hon. Muhammad Alfa Ma’ali has promised to prioritize the development of all – year- round Farming if elected.
According to him, this will enable his administration to fully harness the Agricultural potentials in the Local Government and also compliment the ongoing revolution by the Niger State Farmer Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago in the Agricultural sector .
The APC Chairmanship Candidate ( Hon. Muhammed Alfa Ma’ali) who spoke during a chat with Journalist in Minna said his comprehensive blueprint for the development of Agriculture which includes provisions of Fertilizers and Farming implements to local farmers at the ward level would completely transformed the Agricultural sector in Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State.
He however emphasised on the need to take advantage of River Niger to develop functional irrigation systems that will enable the local farmers to leverage on the vast arable land for producing assorted Food crops for Local and International consumption.
Furthermore, Hon. Maali promised to renovate rural Hospitals and equipped them with qualified personnel pursuant to effective healthcare delivery.
He therefore maintained that the Local Government under his leadership would upgrade the education sector by providing essential learning materials and necessary Infrastructure to enhance effective learning
