Following the murder of a final year Student of Akwa- Ibom State Polytechnic by the suspected Armed Robber, fear has gripped the Communities around the Institution.
The victim identified as Saviour, a final year student of the Electrical Electronics Department, was shot dead on Sunday night while struggling to retain his cellphone from the robbers.
According to the source, the Armed robbers open fire on their victim as he tries to raise the alarm.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Akwa-Ibom State Command, ASP. Timfon John confirmed the incident and stated that the police are working tirelessly to apprehend the culprits .
