A Catholic priest in Zamfara State, identified as Fr.Mikah Suleiman have been Kidnapped by Gunmen suspected to be Bandits.
Fr. Suleiman who serves as the parish priest of St. Raymond Catholic church on Damba, Gasau was kidnapped within the Church premises in the early hours of Saturday.
The abduction of the parish priest of St. Raymond Catholic church was confirmed by Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah, head of Sokoto Diocese in a Statement signed by the Diocese’s Acting chancellor, Very Rev’d Fr.Nuhu iliya.
St Raymond Catholic Church is located five kilometres from Gasau, capital of Zamfara.
It is no news that Damba Community has experienced numerous bandit attack resulting in multiple abduction .
