The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) for the Chairmanship Seat of Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State in the forthcoming council election, Hon. Abdulazeez Umar Aliyu has promised massive empowerment and Skill acquisition programme if elected.
Hon. Abdulazeez Umar made this declaration during a chat with Journalist in Minna recently.
He said that empowerment and Skill acquisition programmes especially for Youths and women will be prioritized by his administration in order to address the issue unemployment which has resulted to Youth restiveness, a critical challenge in Chanchaga Local Government Area.
The PDP Candidate for the council election maintained that the issue of Youth restiveness which constitutes a threat to the security of lives and properties in Chanchaga Local Government Area would have been averted if those who occupied the position Leadership had channel the energy of the young people into productive use.
He however assured the people of Chanchaga Local Government Area that his administration will initiate programmes like vocational education, Skills acquisition and empowerment programme to build automatic ownership of wealth creation among the youths and Women.
” As a young international Businessman, I will also make provision for grants, low – interest loans to revive Small and Medium Enterprises in Chanchaga Local Government Area” Hon. Abdulazeez declared.
Furthermore, he pledged to empower the aged who were no longer strong fend for themselves by given them stipends from time to time.
The PDP CANDIDATE however appealed to the youths in Chanchaga Local Government Area not to allow themselves to be deceive during the Council election by the Ruling APC who has offer nothing but pain and hardship.
