The Economic and Finance Crimes Commission ( EFCC) have arrested 11 over illegal mining, seize eight trucks Loaded with Mineral Resources in Kwara State.
This was recently disclosed by the Ilorin Zonal Command of EFCC.
The suspects arrested are Ibrahim Gambo, Hakeem Saka, Ahmed Muktar, Sulaiman Ibrahim, Ibrahim Muhammad, Jamiu Mustapha, Aisha Muhammad and others.
” The suspects were arrested upon credible Intelligence at different locations in Ogbomosho, Oyo State while conveying assorted solid minerals suspected to be marble stone, white powder, lithium and others to undisclosed destination without unlawful authority”
The statement added that the suspects will be arranged in court upon the conclusion of investigation ongoing investigation.
