It will be recalled that an operative of the EFCC has taken his own life at his residence in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
PRNigeria reports that the deceased, a member of Course 5, was described as a diligent, efficient, and unassuming operative.
The incident occurred on Monday.
When contacted on the incident, the EFCC spokesperson, Mr. Dele Oyewale told PRNigeria that an investigation was currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the suicide.
The EFCC has not released the operative’s name pending the conclusion of the investigation.
