Unknown Gunmen have shot and killed Tijani Akinloye Demola, the first son of Ojomu of Ajiran land of Agungi Area, Lekki, Lagos State.
The king’s first son was reported to have been murdered on Monday along Chevron Drive, close to Ebano Supermarket, according to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the gravity of the situation.
However the tension generated with the killing of Kings first son promoted a notice from the community’s estate management urging the locals to stay away from the Agungi, Ajiran, and Chevron areas.
The statement read, “This is to notify all residents that Ajiran (Agungi) king’s son was assassinated today along Chevron Drive (close to Ebano Supermarket) this morning.
“We therefore plead to our esteemed residents to avoid Chevron area, Agungi and Ajiran for now for their safety.”
Reacting, Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, stated he was unaware of the situation and promised to update our correspondent as soon as he received it.
“I am not aware, I will contact you once I’m privy to the information,” he said.
