Niger State Governor
The member representing Katcha Constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdulmalik Bala Yakubu (Damau) has applauded the Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago for massive roads construction in the State.
Hon Bala Yakubu made the commendation in a chat with Journalist recently in Minna.
He said that the roads Construction embarked upon by the Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago would create avenues for greater economic prosperity for the people.
According to the Lawmaker, the Farmer Governor is showing the way not only in Agriculture but in Infrastructural Development adding that the people of Katcha Constituency in which he represents at the Niger State House of Assembly are solidly behind him.
It will be recalled that apart from the ongoing massive reconstruction of Roads network within Minna, the Niger State capital, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago recently performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the 82Km Minna- Bida dual Carriageway, co- financed by the Islamic Development Bank( IsDB), Abu Dhabi fund for Development ( ADFD) and the Niger State Government, at the Kakpangi Community in Katcha Local Government Area of the State.
The Niger State Farmer Governor also performed the groundbreaking of Bida – Zungeru Road as well as 5 km Road Construction in each of the 25 Local Areas of the State.
Farmer Bago while performing the groundbreaking ceremony of the 82km Minna- Bida Road, apprecited the Support of President Tinubu towards Infrastructural Development in Niger State, promising that the ongoing construction of over 1000 km Road networks which include Lapai – Bida Road, Kontagora- Rijau Road and other roads networks across the State will be completed within schedule.
The Lawmaker, ( Hon. Abdulmalik Bala Yakubu) however observed that the Projects, when completed will change the socio- economic Narration of the State urging Nigerlite and Residence of the State to support and Corporate with the Farmer Governor to achieve the desired results.
