The Coordinator of Ngbo Central Development Centre in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Blessing Adagba who was recently abducted by unknown Gunmen has regained her freedom.
According to report, She was kidnapped on the 3rd of April 2025, in the Okposhi Eheku community, a development confirmed by SP Joshua Ukandu, Public Relations Officer of the Ebonyi State Police Command.
SP. Ukandu said that the Anti-Kidnapping Squad of the Nigeria Police Force were immediately deployed to rescue the victim.
On Wednesday, the Police PRO Ebonyi State Command confirmed her release in a statement to the News Agency of Nigeria.
“The victim was released yesterday (Tuesday) night and the NPF were able to arrest one of the syndicate, Chukwuemeka Nwazunku, male.
“We hope that the arrest of Nwazunku will help our men in fishing out the rest of the gang,” he added.
It will be recalled that SaharaReporters reported how suspected gunmen abducted Adagba the previous night in the Okposhi Eheku community of Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Ebonyi State.
