The Chairman of Borgu Local Government Area who doubles as Chairman Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) , Hon. Suleyman Yerima has assured the people of Niger State that all the 25 Local Government Council Chairmen will deliver concrete Dividends of Democracy.
The Niger State ALGON. Chairman, Hon. Suleyman Yerima, said this during with Journalists recently in Minna.
Hon. Yerima Said the essence of Local Government administration is to bring Good governance closer to the people.
Although, of the three tiers of administration in the Scheme of Governance in Nigeria, certainly, the Local Government is the most deprived in terms of financial liberty to bring good governance to people at the grassroots, the current Chairmen are determined to protect people’s right. the ALGON stressed.
, Hon. Yerima explained that the 25 local Government chairman in Niger State have resolved to delivered Dividends of Democracy to their peoples.
The Niger State ALGON Chairman therefore told the people of Niger State to expect the best in terms of Good Governance from their Various Local Government Chairman.
