The Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago has performed the ground breaking Ceremony of the 84km Minna- Bida Road.

The Farmer Governor while performing the ground breaking Ceremony, revealed that the re- Construction of Minna- Bida Road is an important project, which was very dear to the people of Niger State.

According to the Farmer Governor, thousands of people that ply the strategic Minna- Bida Road on daily basis, go through severe pain because of the dilapidated condition of the Road.

It is against this background he said, that his administration decided to prioritize the re- Construction of the 84km road Project which has lingered for years.

Speaking further, the Farmer Governor  assured the people of timely completion of the 84 km Road Project, which is being handled by Arab Contractor and Tracta adding that the funds  for the completion of the  project is 100 percent available.

While appreciating President Tinubu for his support towards Infrastructural development in Niger State,  Farmer Bago promised that his administration will deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of the State.

” The over 1000 km road construction projects going on across the State will create 3 million direct and indirect Jobs opportunities for the Youths.”

“Farmer Bago however appealed to the youths across the State to take advantage of the opportunities.”

Present during the groundbreaking ceremony is the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Idris Mohammed Malagi, who represented President Tinubu, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, His Excellency the former Governor of Kano State. Abudullahi Ganduje, Senator Muhammad BIma Enagi, Hon. Abubakar S. Gomna and other stakeholders.
