The Niger State Fadama N- cares, has resolved to partner with Leprosy Mission of Nigeria to ensure progress and accelerated development.
This was coming during the appreciation visit of a team from Leprosy Mission of Nigeria, to Fadama N – cares office in Minna recently.
The Niger Project Coordinator of Fadama N- cares, Shehu Mohammed Kudu disclose the position to newsmen at the end of the visit.
He however appreciated the contribution of Leprosy Mission of Nigeria to humanity.
According to him, people with disabilities are within every family either “close or extended”.
Stressing that the contribution of Leprosy Mission in one way or the other touches every family in Nigeria and can not be overemphasized.
Responding, the Leader of the team from Leprosy Mission of Nigeria, Habila Daniel Diko said they were in Minna Fadama N- cares office to officially congratulate the State Project Coordinator on his appointment at the same time appreciate the Interventions of the agency to individuals and communities affected by Leprosy in Niger State .
Habila who is the Community Relations Officer, Leprosy Mission of Nigeria highlighted the contributions of Fadama N- cares to the Leprosy community which includes construction of access Roads, Culverts, distrution of Fertilizers and other essential equipments.
He maintained that the Projects require continued maintenance, but believed that Fadama N- cares was equal to the task.
The highlights of the visit was the presentation of souvenirs to Shehu Mohammed Kudu, Niger State Project Coordinator of Fadama N- cares.
