The tractor hiring Scheme of the Niger State Fadama N- Cares delivery Unit have been described as a laudable Initiatives towards assisting Peasant Farmers across the State.
The Niger State Project Coordinator, Shehu Mohammed Kudu disclosed this today during a chat with Journalist in Minna, Niger State Capital.
According to him, the Tractor hiring Scheme is a move to boost the Agricultural produce of the Peasant Farmers across Niger State in order to ensure Food Security which is being prioritized by the present administration both at the Federal and State level.
Speaking further, Kudu said the Peasant Farmers across Niger State are ever ready to contribute their quota towards the Government Food security Initiatives but there is the need for them to have access to tractors in order to enhanced their productivity.
This he said the present administration wants to address with the provision of Tractor hiring Scheme anchor by Niger State Fadama N- Cares delivery Unit.
Responding to the question of the access and Use of Tractors by the peasants farmers across Niger state, the project Coordinator of Niger State Fadama N- cares delivery unit explained that four tractors have been allocated to Niger South, three to Niger North and three to Niger East.
Pointing out that all desiring Farmers would registered at the Headquarters of the Senatorial Zones ; Bida, Kotangora, Minna free of Charge….
