The Deputy Chief of Staff to the Niger State Governor, Sadiq Yusuf has expressed his readiness to create more job opportunities for women and other vulnerable groups in the State.

He disclosed this through the Commissioner for Communication,. Technology and Digital Economy, Suleiman Isah who represented him during the second Women Empowerment programme at Handball field Minna, Niger State.

The Hon. Commissioner said the programmes is aimed at Promoting Gender Equity, Women Empowerment and increased access to Social Services by women and other vulnerable groups in the society.

According to him, women deserve all the encouragement and support of the State Government in order to enable them contribute their quota to the socio-economic development of the State.

Meanwhile, the Convener of the event Abubakar Ibrahim Babanyaro explained that the collaboration with office of the deputy chief of Staff to the Niger State Governor will go along way to strengthen the women empowerment programme which in turn will reduce the current hardship face by the people.

” Focusing on women empowerment and other vulnerable groups in the State became necessary as 120 women were giving cash donations and soya beans to start up their businesses” he concluded

In their separate remarks, the Director General of Youths Niger State, Aminu Dan asabe as well as the State publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC) Labaran Musa Sarkinkaji stated that the Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s administration will continue to support empowerment programmes that enables women and other vulnerable group in the society to be self- reliance.

Stressing that Farmer Bago administrstation is commited to the needs and yearning of women as well as other Vulnerable people in the Society.

They however solicited for prayers and continuous support of Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago’s administration.
