The Niger State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) commend the Niger State Government for their recent efforts through the Ministry of Works and infrastructure in engaging the public on the infrastructure overhaul projects within the State.
We acknowledge and appreciate the Niger State Government and Ministry of Works for the proactive approach to information sharing and public engagement concerning the ongoing infrastructure projects.
The Chapter Chairman Alhaji Mahmud Abdullahi MNIPR said the government has demonstrated a commitment to transparency by keeping citizens informed about project progress and challenges.
“The Ministry of Works recent engagement with the public, acknowledging the inconveniences caused by the projects and providing updates on mitigation measures and the resolve by government to promptly address citizen concerns and provide temporary relief measures, such as water supply; showcase a citizen-centric approach” the Chairman added.
The NIPR commends the Niger State Government for promoting accountability, and public engagement.
We urge them to continue this approach, ensuring that citizens remain informed and involved throughout the project implementation.
