The re- claimed victory of Hon. Haruna Abubakar Arafat Magaji recently at the Federal High Court Minna will further strengthen and broaden the chances of the All Progressives Congress for winning the forthcoming 2023 general election in Niger State.
This was revealed by Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed, chairman of political Stakeholders in the Federal Constituency during an interactive session with Journalists recently, in Minna.

Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed, described Hon. Arafat who recently reclaimed his mandate through a Federal High Court in Minna , as a grassroot politician with warm reception and admiration of the people of Gurara, Suleja Tafa Federal Constituency.
It would be recalled that the first primary election of the All Progressives Congress for Gurara Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency held on 27th May 2022 at Suleja, the Headquarters of the Federal Constituency, was marred by breakdown of Law and Order as well as desinfrachasment of delegates, especially from Gurara and Tafa Local Government Areas.
Following the unpleasant political development and recommendations of appeal committee, the National Working Committe of the All Progressives Congress Nullified and directed for a re- run which was held at Legbo Kutigi, Minna on 31st May, 2022 and Hon. Haruna Abubakar Arafat Magaji emerged the winner.
However, while the name of Hon. Haruna Arafat Abubakar Magaji had been submitted by the All Progressives Congress to Independent National Electoral Commission as the party candidate for Gurara Suleja and Tafa federal Constituency and expected to be published by INEC along other candidates. Sddenly, Hon. Lado Abubakar ‘s name appeared in replacement. A situation described as wonder of the century.
Against this background, Hon Haruna Arafat Abubakar Magaji approached the Federal High Court to re- claim his mandate and the action delivered his mandate.
Meanwile , as the litigation lasted, electorates in Gurara Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency threatened to cast their Vote for Peoples Democratic Party should Hon. Lado Abubakar who they regards as failure remains the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the Federal Constituency, a situation that has changed with the recent victory of Hon. Arafat at the Federal High Court Minna.
The Chairman of the Political Stakeholders in Gurara Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency , Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed, futher described the recent victory of Hon. Arafat Magaji as a game changer for the All Progressives Congress in the Federal Constituency against the Peoples Democratic Party .

He argued that the recent development will trigger massive votes ost of the for APC with Hon. Arafat holding the party mantle during the forthcoming general election, emphasising that the electorates see Hon. Arafat Magaji as a Leader with the required skill and knowledge to fastract legislative apparatus towards gernered development that has eluded the Federal Constituency in the last 8years.
Recall that Hon. Arafat on Several occasions promises to engender the development of Agriculture in the Federal Constituency which has been abandoned for decades.
He believes that Gurara, Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency is blessed with a fertile land, suitable for massive of production of Rice, Sorghum and wheat etc. hence the need to use legislative apparatus to ensure that all those agricultural potential are delivered.
He has also promised massive empowerment opportunities for women and Youth.
