The Special Adviser to the President on Communication and Orientation, Sunday Dare disclosed this in a recent interview with Channel TV to dismissed the rumors of a “cabal” exerting undue influence within the presidency.

Stressing that certain key figures regularly meet with the president due to their roles in government, providing him with essential updates and data to guide decisions.
He argued that these individuals, often labeled as a “cabal,” are simply advisors working closely with the president on important national matters.
“We’ve grown accustomed to the term ‘cabal,’ but these are simply advisors holding critical roles in sectors like finance. They must keep the president informed on trends and provide vital data,” Dare explained.
As an example of Tinubu’s leadership, Dare pointed to the president’s recent decision to cancel the Central Bank’s proposed cybersecurity tax, which he based on a thorough review of relevant facts.
“The president is fully in control,” Dare stated. “When the cybersecurity tax was proposed, he stepped in, reviewed the situation, and canceled it based on factual considerations.
