The Adhoc committe investigating the missing 72 tractors for the 25LGAs has recommended for the prosecution of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs , Alhaji Kabir Abbas along side with contractor, Dogara Ga Allah Ventures.

The chairman of the Adhoc Committe of the Niger State House of Assembly investigating the missing tractors, Abdulmalik Madaki Bosso, while presenting the report, the House resolved that the Commissioner should be prosecuted based on incompetency , Abuse of office and lack of due process in the awards of Contract which was not followed.
The adhoc committe observed that the contract was subject to ALGON’S consent and Council’s ratification was not done.
Consequently, the House adopted the request and recommended that the company, Dogara Ga Allah Venture be blacklisted from carrying out any contract in the State for the 20 years and should meant to refund over 2million naira made for transporting the tractors from various LGAs.
The House also resolved that the evidence for the payment should be communicated to the House in 2 weeks.
