NUPE LANGUAGE LECTURE COMMENCES IN PSS NAMI AGAIE, SOON

The Commander Police Secondary School, Nami In Agaie Local Government Area Of Niger State, DCP MK Haruna, has granted request for the inclusion of the Indigenous Nupe Language to be thought in the school to enable the students understand their mother tongue better.

The Commander PSS Nami Agaie, gave the approval when he hosted the management of the Indigenous Language learning Center, ILLEC led by its Director Adamu Idris Manarakis, at his Residence In Minna.

DCP Haruna explained that education would be complete and developed if Indigenous languages were used in classes, pointing out that the use of Indigenous languages would help to develop the students.

Earlier, the Director Indigenous Languages Learning Center, ILLEC Adamu Idris Manarakis said Indigenous Languages should be adopted to make teaching and learning easier at the primary, Secondary, and tertiary levels.

Idris Manarakis urged the Federal Government to adopt and implement the policy, saying that the country had enough resources to adopt it.

The Director ILLEC however appreciate the commander of the PSS NAMI for his kind gesture.
