Members of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) in the United Kingdom ( UK) have declared support for Governor Lucky Ayiedatiwa, the party’s candidate in the forthcoming Governorship election in Ondo State.
The Chairman of Ondo State APC in the United Kingdom, Chief Adeyeye disclosed this after a meeting with Hon. Akogun Olugbenga Omole, Special Adviser on Transport to Governor Lucky Ayiedatiwa.
Chief Adeyeye described Governor Ayiedatiwa as a leader with the requisite knowledge to harnessed the economic potentials of Ondo State for its development.
According to the APC Chieftain, “Having been a deputy Governor, Acting Governor and Governor after the demise of his Principal,( late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,) Governor Lucky Ayiedatiwa has what its takes for purposeful Leadership and Good Governance which are paramount to the people of Ondo State.
“For past few months as the Executive Governor of Ondo State , Lucky Ayiedatiwa has embarked on different projects to open up the State for Economic Development.”
Ondo State APC supporters in the United Kingdom then called on the people of the State to come out enmass and vote for Governor Lucky Ayiedatiwa during the governorship election stressing that “there is no better time to do it than now.”
In his response, Hon. Omole appreciated the endorsement of his principal (Governor Lucky Ayiedatiwa) by the Ondo State APC in the United Kingdom.
He appealed to them to continue to use their wealth of experience to mobilize support for the APC candidate in the forthcoming Governorship election.
“We are committed to the project of a developed and prosperous Ondo State and we need your support to achieve it.
“We have all it takes to make huge success in this assignment, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will not failed you,” Omole assured.
